Wadi I. Sawabini, Jr.

Since 1991, Wadi Sawabini has taught thousands of Federal Agents, State, County and Local Police Officers how to shoot videotape that stands up in court and wins cases.

His courses are used by the ATF, Border Patrol, DEA, FBI, HSI and dozens of other federal agencies. Sawabini has taught at the DEA Drug Team Commanders’ schools at the DEA Academy at Quantico, VA and Fort Leonard Wood, MO.

Outside of the United States, he has taught for the Criminal Intelligence Service of Ontario (CISO), the Ontario Police College, the Korean National Police and the Bermuda Police Service.

Sawabini has conducted training at 14 of the HIDTAs, 4 of the National Guard Counterdrug Schoolhouses (MCTC, NCTC, RCTA & WRCTC) and 3 of the federal RISS Projects (MAGLOCLEN, NESPIN & ROCIC).State police agencies in 37 states from California to Massachusetts have used his 3-Day Video Camcorder Training for Law Enforcement program.

A graduate of the University of Vermont, Sawabini was a Reserve Erie County (NY) Deputy Sheriff while living in the Buffalo, NY area. He is POST-certified as an instructor in several states. He is a member of ILEETA and a Life Member of the Connecticut Division of the International Association of Identification (IAI). He is a frequent lecturer at National and International Law Enforcement Conferences and has appeared on the Law Enforcement Television Network (LETN).

Chris Knowles

Chris Knowles has been actively training law enforcement since 2004, and has been shooting video since he was old enough to hold a camcorder.

Chris has been shooting and producing video professionally since 1997, recording and editing training sessions, conferences, public events, and documentary interviews for a variety of public, private, and non-profit organizations including the Omaha Summer Arts Festival, the Iowa Governor’s Conference on Substance Abuse, the Iowa Mental Health Conference, the Drug Endangered Children Summit, D.A.R.E., the Iowa School Resource Officers Association, the Iowa Peace Officers Association, and the Iowa Narcotic Officers Association.

A 21-year veteran of the Air National Guard, Knowles distinguished himself by designing, employing, and training on all video, audio, and information systems utilized by the Iowa National Guard Counterdrug Task Force and Midwest Counterdrug Training Center. He has shot hundreds of hours of video in this capacity.

He has taught and facilitated courses at fourteen different High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA), five Regional Information Sharing Systems (RISS), the US Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), numerous metropolitan and county law enforcement agencies, United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) sectors, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) field offices.

Knowles became a an instructor for Law Enforcement Video LLC (formerly known as Sawabini & Associates) in 2021 and began teaching full-time following his military retirement in 2022. Knowles has been a featured presenter at the ai2-3D International Forensic Photography Symposium.
